China Opens Doors to Brazilian Coffee Sellers Amid US Tariffs

Reported about 15 hours ago

In response to new US tariffs on Brazilian coffee, China has granted export permits to 183 Brazilian coffee companies to sell their products in the Chinese market, effective from July 30. This decision aims to offer support to Brazilian exporters facing challenges as they seek alternatives to the significant US market, where they have historically sold around 8 million bags annually. The new permits are valid for five years.
