Recently, the Chinese State Council's Taiwan Affairs Office, along with the Supreme People's Court and the Ministry of Public Security, held a press conference to announce their 'punishment for Taiwan Independence opinions,' stating that advocating or promoting Taiwan independence could lead to criminal charges. Wang Wanyu criticized China's self-indulgent textual attacks, stating that Taiwan no longer takes such rhetoric seriously and finds it foolish and humorous. She highlighted the importance of democracy in Taiwan for individual freedom and criticized China's authoritarian regime. Additionally, she suggested that China's intimidation tactics will not hinder Taiwan's tranquility and beauty.
