China has increased its 2023 GDP by 2.7%, reaching 129.4 trillion yuan, but officials indicate this revision will not significantly affect 2024 growth rates. While aiming for a growth target of around 5% for 2024, the country faces challenges such as potential U.S. tariff hikes and subdued economic confidence. The latest economic census highlighted a 52.7% increase in business entities since 2018, though employment growth remains sluggish, particularly in the property sector, which has seen a 27% decline in developer employment.
