Chinese Man Charged for LV Bag Repair While Free Service in Europe Sparks Discrimination Allegations

Reported 7 months ago

A Chinese man who purchased a Louis Vuitton (LV) bag in Italy experienced the shoulder strap falling apart shortly after returning to China and was charged 2400 Chinese yuan (approximately 1,000 New Taiwan dollars) for repair, while he discovered later while in Scandinavia that repair services for LV bags were free there. This discrepancy led him to suspect discrimination by LV against Chinese customers, prompting him to share his experience on social media platforms. LV clarified that repair fees are determined after assessment at each location, and they are not aware of overseas service regulations.
