Chunghwa Telecom's sustainable efforts were once again recognized by an authoritative organization on June 23, 2024, at 4:10 p.m. The sustainable bond issued by Chunghwa Telecom in 2022, the first in Taiwan's telecom industry, was awarded the Gold Award in the sustainable bond category at the fourth TWSIA Taiwan Sustainable Investment Awards hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy. Chairman Guo Shuiyi emphasized the company's commitment to ESG and sustainable development, aiming to be an international benchmark enterprise. The funds raised from the sustainable bond were invested in various sustainable projects, showcasing significant environmental, economic, and social impacts.
