Legislative Yuan's Internal Administration Committee reviewed the amendment to the 'Recall of Public Officials Election Law,' resulting in a clash between blue and green party caucuses. DPP legislator Huang Chie criticized the KMT with strong words, challenging Fu Kun-chi's claim of representing 60% of public opinion and urging him to come to Kaohsiung to see the real public sentiment. Huang Chie accused the KMT of not respecting public opinion despite claims of representing the majority, pointing out the urgency to amend the recall law, which she deemed self-defeating. She emphasized that the KMT's actions have been met with public disapproval and called for the withdrawal of the recall law amendment.
