According to the latest forecast from the Taiwan Central Weather Bureau, many regions in Taiwan are still facing extreme heat challenges with temperatures exceeding 36 degrees, making outdoor activities nearly impossible. The political party 'Time for Change' suggests that in light of Taiwan continuously breaking heat records in recent years, the issue of 'Heat Leave' should be addressed. Citing a survey by a job bank last year where over 90% of workers supported the idea of implementing heat leave, the party emphasizes the urgent need for legislative discussion on this matter to protect workers' health and safety amidst worsening global climate change.
