Coca-Cola is reportedly working with investment bank Lazard to explore options for the potential sale of Costa Coffee, the British coffee chain it acquired in 2018 for over $5 billion. Initial talks with interested bidders, including private equity firms, have taken place, and indicative offers are expected by early autumn. However, Coca-Cola may ultimately decide against selling Costa, which operates over 2,700 coffee shops in the UK and Ireland and more than 1,300 internationally.
