The National People's Daily reported on July 4, 2024, at 5:41 am that the College Cup Comedy Competition aims to cultivate a new generation of performers and provide a stage for young people to showcase themselves. This summer, the New Taipei City Cultural Bureau, in collaboration with the National People's Theater, is hosting the 'College Stand-up Comedy Competition,' open to college students aged 18 to 25, who can submit a 3-5 minute video entry for the chance to win NT$60,000 in cash and a new Guan Yang motorcycle worth over NT$80,000. Registration is open from now until noon on July 14 via email at [email protected].
