At the Interior Committee of the Legislative Yuan on July 4, DPP legislator Chen Zhihan and Green Party legislators were involved in a heated argument with people's Party occupying the chairman seat. During the review of the Amendment Draft of the Public Officials' Election and Recall Act, conflicts between the blue and green camps erupted. People's Party legislator Chen Zhihan livestreamed the committee's situation using her phone, which was then criticized by Green Party legislators Wang Dingyu and Lin Chunyin. Chen explained that as an assistant, she was only doing her job by broadcasting the scene, while accusing DPP legislators of not fulfilling their duties. She clarified that she did not disrupt the meeting, as the entire session was paralyzed by the DPP, which led her to livestream the situation to provide transparency.
