Conor McGregor, scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 on June 29, had to cancel due to an injury. This would have been his first fight since breaking his leg in July 2021. UFC president Dana White confirmed the cancellation and announced new fights, including Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka and Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes. McGregor's withdrawal comes after the original co-main event between Jamahal Hill and Carlos Ulberg was also canceled due to Hill's knee injury.
