Rakow, who has been with Alaska Airlines for eight years, previously held the position of senior vice president for public affairs and sustainability. Following Sprague's retirement, he will remain on the board of directors of Hawaiian Airlines after overseeing the airline's operations following its acquisition by Alaska Air Group.
