Joe Sprague, the CEO of Hawaiian Airlines, will retire on October 29, 2025, with Diana Birkett Rakow set to take his place. Rakow, who has been with Alaska Airlines for eight years, previously held the position of senior vice president for public affairs and sustainability. Following Sprague's retirement, he will remain on the board of directors of Hawaiian Airlines after overseeing the airline's operations following its acquisition by Alaska Air Group.
