Constitutional Court to Review Interim Measures for 10 Days; KMT Accuses 7 Justices of Being 'Too Pro-Green'

Reported about 1 year ago

On July 2, 2024, the Constitutional Court accepted the DPP's application and decided to discuss interim measures on the 10th. After the approval of the National Parliament Reform Act, various institutions including the DPP legislative caucus, Executive Yuan, Presidential Office, and Control Yuan separately applied for constitutional checks and interim measures. The debate will include 12 litigation representatives, and the KMT has called for the recusal of 7 justices, claiming their ties to the DPP are too strong. The court will focus on interim measures and not the constitutionality of the National Parliament Reform Act.
