Since June 16th, continuous rainstorms have been affecting multiple cities in Hunan Province, China, with historic river levels recorded due to over 100mm of rainfall. Recent updates include a landslide in Xinhong County, Huaihua City, causing 8 people to go missing and 4 houses to collapse. In Yuangling County, severe flooding has led residents to travel by boat, and some vehicles have been submerged in water. Rescue efforts are ongoing as the region faces challenges from the relentless rain, with more heavy rainfall forecasts in the coming days.
