A promotional poster from the Tainan private shrine 'Tainan Jade Zi Wuxuan Altar' caused a dispute by depicting 'marriage' and changing the name of the Heavenly Queen to 'Heavenly Guan Saint Mother,' leading to misconceptions. While Tainan Deer Ear Door Mazu Shrine clarified that the deity named 'Heavenly Guan Saint Mother' was not a sub-spirit from their shrine, an altar member later hinted that the deity did indeed originate from there. The incident sparked protests and demands from worshippers to return the deity, causing apologies for any misunderstandings created.
