The 'Eastern Taiwan Three Laws' proposed by KMT legislative leader Fu Kun-chi faced doubts regarding budget and feasibility, causing inner turmoil within the party. Both KMT think tank executive Ko Chih-en and People First Party Chairman Ko Wen-je expressed skepticism over the proposed laws. Fu Kun-chi held a separate gathering with business owners, sparking speculations of discord within the party. The feasibility of the laws is still under discussion, and the likelihood of passing by July 16th is deemed impossible.
