Corn prices have experienced slight gains of 1 to 2 cents on Thursday morning, hovering just above unchanged. Although the market was initially heavy following the US/Japan trade announcement, preliminary open interest indicated modest selling interest. The CmdtyView national average cash corn price fell slightly to $3.75, and ethanol production figures showed a decline. Export sales data is expected to reveal significant sales figures for both old and new crop corn later today.
