CPBL/ Lee Kai-wei looking forward to WBSC 12 Nations Baseball Championship after being selected for All-Star Game

Reported 7 months ago

In recent years, the CPBL has used the All-Star Game as a warm-up for international competitions, and this year's event will continue the tradition with the Chinese Taipei national team facing off against the All-Star team. Although the All-Star Game is not the official WBSC 12 Nations Championship, being selected is still a significant recognition for players. Lee Kai-wei, second baseman for the Uni-President Lions, who has won three individual awards in the past three years, expressed his excitement for potentially making it to the official 12 Nations roster later this year. Other players like Wang Wei-Yung of the Fubon Guardians are also hoping for a chance to represent the national team despite being selected for the All-Star Game.
