The Taiwan Steel Eagles will hold their first home games at the Taipei Dome on June 22 and 23, inviting special guests to throw the first pitch each day. On June 22, the team invited the widow of the late Brothers Elephants coach Sakue Yoshiyuki to throw the first pitch. On June 23, they invited former national team player Wu Fu-lian and his son Wu Nien-ting, who is confirmed to participate in this year's CPBL draft.
