Crystal Optoelectronics and Visunex Achieve Impressive May Revenue

Two key invisible lens stocks, Crystal Optoelectronics (6491) and Visunex (6782), both reported record-breaking revenue in May. Crystal Optoelectronics saw a revenue of 613 million NTD, with a monthly increase of 18.73% and a year-on-year growth of 10.85%. Visunex's May revenue reached 297 million NTD, marking a monthly increase of 10.42% and a significant yearly growth of 90.16%. With strong demand for silicone hydrogel products, both companies are expected to perform better in the second quarter than the first, showcasing positive growth prospects. Crystal Optoelectronics' cumulative revenue for the first five months of this year increased by 13.30% to 2.854 billion NTD, while Visunex's revenue for the same period surged by 64.2% to 1.38 billion NTD compared to last year. Crystal Optoelectronics anticipates the launch of new silicone hydrogel products in Japan and Europe, aiming to boost revenue, while Visunex foresees continued stable growth in China's market. Crystal Optoelectronics is set to introduce silicone hydrogel daily lenses and color lenses in Japan, targeting high-value product consumers, and also plans to launch silicone hydrogel daily lenses in China by 2025. To counter competition in China, Crystal Optoelectronics adopts a robust customer diversification strategy. Visunex expects the second quarter to outperform the first, driven by new product launches and steady sales performance. The Asian market has witnessed substantial growth with the rising popularity of silicone hydrogel color contact lenses, particularly in Japan, Taiwan, and mainland China.
