CVS has successfully purchased customer prescription files from numerous closed Rite Aid drugstores and is now managing 63 former Rite Aid locations across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The acquisition follows Rite Aid's bankruptcy proceedings, where the company sought protection in October 2023 and aimed to sell its assets after struggling with financial issues. CVS has not disclosed the financial details of the acquisition.
