The incident took place in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, where thousands of participants gathered. Reports indicated that followers were instructed to wait until the 'master' left before exiting, leading to a deadly crush and stampede near the narrow exit. Over 150 individuals were injured, with many in critical condition, and emergency services were dispatched to provide medical assistance.
