Anping District in Tainan City witnessed a double corpse case at a motel on June 9, 2024, where a couple stayed for 2 days without leaving the room. The housekeeping staff, alarmed by the absence of the couple, found them motionless inside the room and immediately reported to the police. Empty medication bottles and farewell letters were discovered in the room, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the incident. The relatives of the deceased agreed to await the autopsy results for clarification.
