The 38th annual Dragon Boat Race in Chiayi County is set to take place tomorrow morning at the Dongshi Fisherman's Wharf, with a pre-event carnival featuring local cuisine and a spectacular 8-minute sea and sky fireworks show held tonight attracting a large crowd. The race will have 42 teams participating from Chiayi County and various other cities, with the event integrating a fireworks display for the first time to boost tourism and showcase the local agricultural products and seafood in Dongshi.
