On the morning of June 18, 2024, at 7:13 AM, a driver fell from the elevated section of the Wufeng section of National Freeway No. 1 in Taoyuan due to unknown reasons. The driver, surnamed Lin and approximately 30 years old, was found lying motionless on the grass below with no signs of breathing or heartbeat. He was rushed to Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for urgent medical treatment. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the authorities.
