During a police patrol in Kaohsiung, officers stopped a car without headlights swerving on the road, driven by a 66-year-old man surnamed Zhang. Upon seeing the police, Zhang attempted to flee but crashed on the highway, leading to his arrest. Zhang, a wanted criminal under commercial accounting law, faces charges including dangerous driving, fleeing from law enforcement, running red lights, not using turn signals, and driving in the opposite direction, totaling fines of 200,680 NTD. The police emphasized the importance of cooperating with authorities during inspections and warned against reckless behavior.
