FCC Approves T-Mobile Deals Following End of DEI Initiatives

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission has approved two deals for T-Mobile aimed at expanding its network, which come after the company discontinued its diversity, equity, and inclusion programs amid pressure from the Trump administration. T-Mobile is set to acquire nearly all of United States Cellular's operations for $4.4 billion and purchase Metronet, expanding its reach to over 2 million homes and businesses.
