Pharmacists on the front lines have also revealed shortages of antibiotics like amoxicillin and are calling for the establishment of a dedicated drug shortage office to handle the issue. The reliance on imported raw materials for pharmaceuticals, especially from China, poses a significant risk to the local drug supply in Taiwan.
