A drug trafficker, Oralia Rodriguez Flores, pleaded guilty in federal court to multiple charges related to her involvement with the Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG). She revealed that long-haul truck drivers assisted in transporting drugs and laundering money between the U.S. and Mexico. Flores admitted to facilitating significant shipments of cocaine and methamphetamine and providing over $1 million in cash to truck drivers for laundering the drug proceeds. U.S. officials emphasize the urgency of dismantling such networks to combat the flow of narcotics into the U.S.
