A Dutch Royal Navy frigate, the HNLMS Tromp, experienced harassment from Chinese military aircraft while patrolling the East China Sea on June 7. The Dutch Ministry of Defence accused two Chinese military aircraft of hovering over the ship and deliberately approaching its on-board helicopter, leading to a potentially unsafe situation.
