E.SUN Bank announced on June 27, 2024, its pioneering initiative of incorporating sensory functions in ATMs to assist visually impaired individuals in locating machine positions. With over 130 accessibility voice-function ATMs in branches nationwide and the new sensory feature activating voice announcements when customers approach, E.SUN Bank aims to have all branches equipped by the end of the year, injecting warmth into financial services to fulfill their corporate vision of 'Transforming Finance Together, Creating a Better Life.' The ATM sensory feature automatically broadcasts 'This machine provides audio-visual impairment functions' upon customer proximity, greatly reducing identification or waiting time. In addition to braille stickers on various operational areas for easier use, the bank offers real-time text chat services during business hours to assist hearing or speech-impaired customers with transactions like withdrawals, deposits, transfers, balance inquiries, or password changes.
