The Ministry of Economic Affairs has been collaborating with the American Institute in Taiwan since 2022 to bring Taiwanese startups to participate in the SelectUSA Investment Summit organized by the US Department of Commerce. At a pre-departure press conference on June 11, the Ministry announced that 19 startups, including 9 promising ones, will be heading to the US. SelectUSA, the largest investment promotion event in the US, will be held from June 23 to 26, offering international investment and business cooperation opportunities to winning startups in crucial industries like HealthTech, ICT/Software, CleanTech, and Open Tech. Taiwan tops the list with the most startups entering the finals, reflecting the importance the US market holds for Taiwanese startups.
