Before his performance at Boston Calling, Ed Sheeran visited Boston Children's Hospital on May 23, 2024, where he met with over 100 patients and families, taking photos and performing his songs "Perfect" and "Castle on the Hill" in the hospital's Seacrest Studio. The show was also broadcasted to patients' rooms so everyone could enjoy. Sheeran's visit brought positive energy to the hospital, with a spokesperson noting that it was a special day that will be remembered for years to come. Additionally, Sheeran recently surprised students at Fairlight Primary School in Brighton, U.K., performing, participating in music lessons, and donating guitars, showing humility and encouragement to the children.
