On July 1, 2024, at 9:05 pm, eight individuals invaded a university in northern Taiwan, attempting to recruit and flirt with female students, boldly writing phrases like 'Newcomer to the Eight Major Institutions' on a whiteboard inside a classroom. Despite the university's discontent with their behavior, the Taipei District Court ruled no penalty would be issued as the individuals' entry onto the campus was peaceful, sparking backlash from law enforcement. The incident involved individuals being arrested for disrupting social order but ultimately not penalized as ruled by the court, leading to discontent within the police force.
