In Portland, Oregon, an elderly man was pick-pocketed outside a grocery store by a thief who then used the stolen credit cards to buy hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards at a Fred Meyer Supermarket. Police are investigating the crime and believe there may be more victims. The thieves attempted the same scheme on other shoppers as well.
