An 80-year-old elderly man in Shengang, Changhua, Taiwan, waved a knife in anger after being laughed at by his young neighbors for asking them to keep quiet. The man complained that the noisy chatter of 4 to 5 people disturbed his sleep and frustrated him. Believing the youth were mocking him like a public figure, Huang Kuo-chang, he confronted them, brandishing the knife. The incident escalated and the man's behavior has been reported to the police for investigation on suspicion of intimidation. The elderly man explained that he only intended to frighten the youngsters, but his actions were deemed inappropriate and should not be imitated.
