A group of investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, and others, will provide $6 billion to support Elon Musk's xAI in developing artificial intelligence. This Series B funding round aims to bring xAI's initial products to market and accelerate research. Prior to this investment, xAI had an $18 billion valuation. The funding will enable Musk's company to compete with Microsoft and Open AI in the artificial intelligence race, following the release of their chatbot Grok in November.
