During Lisa Ono's 35th-anniversary world tour concert in Kaohsiung, Elva Hsiao sang duets including 'Wings/Wings' and 'Others' with her as a guest. Feeling apologetic for the complexity of the songs in Minnanese, Chinese, and Japanese, Hsiao wrote a heartfelt letter in Japanese and English to explain the song meanings, even providing clips from her performances at the Taipei Arena. Ono was moved to tears and even did research after listening to 'Others' from the movie 'The Soul,' as it reminded her of her father's hometown in Tainan and their memories in Taiwan. An emotional moment that left both artists touched.
