Engie Maintains Strong US Interest in Renewable Energy

Reported about 9 hours ago

Engie, the French energy group, continues to see robust demand for renewable energy projects in the U.S., according to Executive Vice President Edouard Neviaski. Despite uncertainties due to a pause in federal spending on climate initiatives under President Trump, Engie secured 1.5 GW in power purchase agreements in the U.S. for 2024, contributing to a total of 4.3 GW globally. Neviaski believes that while other regions may grow faster, the U.S. will remain a substantial part of their portfolio, particularly in solar projects coupled with battery capacity.
