On June 28, 2024, Director Chen Bai-li of the Investigation Bureau encouraged colleagues to continuously enhance their abilities to improve evidence collection efficiency. In response to the increasing crimes like land destruction, illegal sand mining, and fraud in recent years, using drones for investigations has become crucial. To strengthen investigators' drone operating skills and evidence collection capabilities, the bureau organized the '2nd Drone Competition,' where investigators with professional remote drone operating certificates competed in obstacle courses, item search, and speed tests. Director Chen emphasized the importance of drones in future investigations and encouraged continuous improvement and certification attainment to enhance the bureau's technological evidence collection capabilities, effectively combating crimes and maintaining social order.
