The annual Tamsui Mazu temple fair in New Taipei City's Tamsui District was held on the 10th and 11th of June with over 5,000 participants from temples and parade groups attracting thousands of believers and tourists. The Tamsui Police Precinct, under the leadership of Director Peng Zhengzhong, meticulously planned and coordinated, enhanced policing skills training, and strategically deployed 400 officers to manage any potential disorderly or illegal behavior during the fair. By closely monitoring the parade routes with cameras and drones, involving experienced officers to guide and prevent incidents, and signing action agreements with temples and groups, the police ensured a peaceful and successful event with minimal conflicts.
