Envirocement held a shareholders' meeting on June 21, 2024, where they discussed plans for future development, including the production of low-carbon cement and lightweight partition materials. The company aims to adapt to ESG trends by applying for product carbon footprint labels for various building materials. In the concrete business, they plan to expand production sites in Chiayi and Tainan by 2025 to enter the TSMC supply chain. Envirocement is also optimizing the Ailian cement plant process to start mass-producing low-carbon limestone cement by the end of the year. Additionally, they continue to develop dry lightweight partition system products like gypsum boards, exterior boards, and roofing materials, as well as research gypsum 100% recycling techniques. Through subsidiary Liyung Global Technology, they are developing flexible MEMS pressure sensing technology for various industries, and have already introduced an AI medical prediction system in a care center in Taiwan with plans for 10,000 units shipment in the U.S. by 2025.
