Equinox Gold Corp. announced the discovery of the highest-grade gold mineralization to date at its El Limon Mine in Nicaragua, revealing significant potential for expansion of the mineralized area. Initial results from a 100,000-meter drilling program included impressive intercepts of 36.77 grams per tonne of gold, among others. The mining company, which acquired the Nicaraguan assets in 2019, is actively exploring multiple areas of the site to enhance its gold reserves.
