Ericsson announced plans to manufacture all of its telecom antennas for the Indian market in India by June 2025, driven by increased demand from local telecom companies like Bharti Airtel and Jio as they expand 5G services. The company, which has been manufacturing in India since 1994, will collaborate with VVDN Technologies and also use its logistics hub in Pune to manage distribution. Additionally, Ericsson expects to export a significant number of antennas after fulfilling domestic needs.
