The lyrics data website 'Mojim Lyrics' founded in August 2005 suddenly disappeared, shocking many users who discovered the site was no longer accessible on July 2, 2024. The site covered lyrics of popular songs worldwide and relied on embedded advertisements for survival. Known for displaying 'More detailed lyrics at ※ Mojim.com Mojim Lyrics' within each lyric, it was authorized by the Taipei Music Copyright Association (MPA) as a legitimate online operator since 2008. Netizens expressed surprise and disappointment at the unexpected disappearance of a platform they frequently used for almost 20 years.
