European Parliament Elections: French Residents in Taiwan Vote in Person, Belgian Citizens Mail in Ballots

Reported 11 months ago

The four-day European Parliament elections will conclude on June 9th, with many European expatriates having already voted by mail. However, significant numbers of French residents in Taiwan have the opportunity to cast their votes in person at polling stations set up by the French government. Meanwhile, Belgian citizens in Taiwan have received their ballots a month prior to the elections and can mail them back to Belgium. The election, involving 720 seats and 27 EU member states, aims to elect representatives for each country's European Parliament. This significant election result is expected to influence the EU's direction for the next five years.
