Eve, an electric aircraft maker majority owned by Embraer, plans to raise funds as early as next month to support operations until the certification of its flying taxi in 2026. The company has enough resources to sustain operations until 2025 but aims to secure additional funding for certification. Eve is progressing on schedule with the development of its eVTOL aircraft, with 3,000 orders and plans to begin ground tests for the prototype in July. The company's Taubate factory in Brazil is set to produce up to 120 eVTOLs annually and could potentially expand overseas in the future.
