Excess Third Party Liability Insurance Transfers High Compensation

Reported 9 months ago

On June 26, 2024, a well-known century-old bakery, Yuzhenzhai, in Lukang, Changhua, was hit by a sedan, causing significant damage to the storefront, with glass windows collapsing, pastries scattered, and two people, including the driver and a customer, lightly injured. Huatai Property Insurance suggested that car owners can opt for 'excess third party liability insurance' to transfer the burden of high compensation in case of accidents, providing peace of mind while driving. With over 402,000 road traffic accidents reported in Taiwan in 112, which is an increase from the previous year, investing in this type of insurance can be beneficial for covering extensive damages.
