Despite recent disputes and rumors surrounding Hu Gua, including conflicts with his wife Ding Rou-an, their son Hu Shih-an, along with his girlfriend, brought a Tesla home as a gift from Ding Rou-an for Hu Gua's 65th birthday. The couple showed efforts to maintain the relationship, with Ding Rou-an also seen at TVBS building for Hu Gua's birthday celebration, including a grand cake presentation and a well-attended party. Despite divorce rumors and past controversies, the birthday celebrations seemed to strengthen family ties.
