On June 18, actor Wang Bojie collided with a tour bus while driving under the influence, leading to a public endangerment investigation. Wang expressed surprise at still testing positive for alcohol the next afternoon and issued multiple apologies. Medical professionals explained that factors such as excessive alcohol consumption and high alcohol tolerance can affect metabolism rates, emphasizing the importance of waiting at least 48 hours after drinking before driving and staying hydrated to eliminate alcohol. Wang's blood alcohol level was 0.44 mg per liter, resulting in his investigation. Experts noted that individuals with different metabolisms can still show alcohol in their system even after a long time. Wang's agent clarified that Wang had consumed alcohol the night before and did not expect the alcohol to remain in his system the following day when he drove.
